New to LimeSurvey, haven't been able to resolve this issue;
  1. New LimeSurvey 3.15.8 install
  2. Extend the vanilla theme
  3. In new theme, turn off brandlogo in theme options
  4. In theme editor, add {{ dump(aSurveyInfo.options) }}
  5. Expect to see brandlogo=off, instead see brandlogo=on

In short, the template editor does not seem to see the current template's settings. What am I doing wrong?

Cheers

Think it's an issue : then must be reported.
You have same issue with variations (fruity or bootswatch)

the theme editor takes it values from the XML, not from DB.
This is the wanted behavior.

there are different ways.
if you want to do it from Theme Editor, just update the default values in the XML

Thanks Louis. So what is the Theme Options screen for? Where are those settings used?
