Hi, I used LS many years but previous versions, 1.xx.
Now first I try to upgrade from 1.76 to the last stable version and I had some troubles.
In order to verify that issues I install one clean LS from zero.
And when the installer run, first I received one problem with the php version, I fixed.
Then another issue with the memory limit, I fixed.
Now I receive "Fatal error: Class 'Yii' not found in /home/content/21/13961521/html/limesurvey/"

and after a lot of time reading many articles, and apply changes on the config, etc.
I need help!

Please somebody can help me with this problem?
Thank you in advance
Martina

How and where did you install the new version?
Did you check all the installation requirementes for LS?
Make sure you uploaded all files. Sometimes via FTP not all files are uploaded.

On other thing: I am not suprised that an upgrade from 1.76 to the newest version doesn't work flawless. This version ancient and I don't think anyone tested that ever.

How: usign FTP and then the LS installer.
Where: dedicated hosting on Godaddy.
Req: yes and change the memory limit for example.
Do you know if Godaddy have some troubles with LS?

I used FTP and I didn't see any strange situation, all the files upload, but I can verify on detail that point.

Do you thing that the problem is missing files?
