Good morning,
I recently installed version 2.57 on a virtual server. The hosting provider does not have the LDAP extension installed, so I got an error message during the installation process, but installation worked anyway. I am also running an older version, 2.06, on the same webserver and with the same hosting provider (only on a different database). In the 2.06 installation, I can choose the language attribute in the CPDB, in the new 2.57 version I cannot (in the participant list there is an empty field, and the field is not available in the "add participant" window, and importing a csv with that field is not possible).
Is that a problem with my hosting provider (missing LDAP extension, maybe), or did I fail to find the right switch somewhere?
Any help is appreciated, thanks a lot,
Dirk

Hi, Dirk,
well, why can't you import the language?
I just imported the following csv
Code:
email,firstname,lastname,language
"me@example.com","John","Wayne","en"
and got the following result (screenshot).

Best regards
Joffm

Thank you, Joffm, I copied the format you gave - same error as before: The import assistant tells me, that I have a new attribute "email, firstname, lastname, language". Then I returned tot the first import screen and set the "seperator" selector from "comma" to "automatic" - and now it works :-) I was probably a bit too anxious to avoid errors ...

So, thanks again for your quick help!
Best,
Dirk
