I think many time we may need to use the LS with interviewers who conduct and interview with respondents. still most of surveys are conducting with face to face interview.

in any using LS with tablet data or WiFi it may disconnect the internet or an interviewer may want to conduct in a village or place the has not internet network. so I think it's very useful to develop an opensource application for android for example that can translate to any language and users can use it. I Know that offlinesuveys did it. but it's not open source and could not translated.
does anybody have an idea about it?

I highly doubt that anyone will do the extra work that Offlinesurveys have done already again. I am not aware of any other app (especially open source) that does what you are looking for.

that's right. indeed I worked with offlinesurveys and it's really good. but the problem is that it has not any option to translate to other language.

Well, you could always talk to the developers if they have any plans on translating it. And: There are not that many options in the app anyway, so writing a good tutorial with screenshots might already solve your problems. A normal interviewer doesn't use that many functions anyway, I guess.

But, get in touch with them and see what they say. there is even a own forum section dedicated to the offlinesurveys app. They are not the quickest, but eventually they respond.
