Hi, I have a question about using Relevance equation in randomize question

there are 4 questions in one group(Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4), all of these 4 question are text display
the respondent will read one of there 4 question(randomize one of 4 text display)

and those who read Q1 or Q2, they will reading Q5 or Q6,(Q5 and Q6 will not appear at the same time)
those who read Q3 or Q4, they will reading Q7 or Q8(Q7 and Q8 will not appear at the same time)

I've tried to using the conditional setting, but Q5 and Q6 or (Q7 and Q8) will appear at the same time

Can anyone please tell me how to correct this?
many thanks

Rita

Hi, Rita,

and those who read Q1 or Q2, they will reading Q5 or Q6,(Q5 and Q6 will not appear at the same time)

Is it
Q1->Q5, Q2->Q6?
or
Q1-> Q5 or Q6 randomly
Q2-> Q5 or Q6 randomly
Q3,Q4 analogue.

I think, the second, the first option is too obvious.
If so: create two random numbers;
Q1 "rand1==1" -> Q5 "rand1==1 AND rand2==1"
Q1 "rand1==1" -> Q6 "rand1==1 AND rand2==2"
Q2 "rand1==2" -> Q5 "rand1==2 AND rand2==1"
...
Q3 "rand1==3" -> Q7 "rand1==3 AND rand2==1"
---
Or: Is it related to your last question about the delayed display of the second question?

Best regards
Joffm

the second one is correct.
Q1-> Q5 or Q6 randomly
Q2-> Q5 or Q6 randomly
Q3,Q4 analogue.

if so,
Q1 "rand1==1" -> Q5 "rand1==1 AND rand2==1"
Q1 "rand1==1" -> Q6 "rand1==1 AND rand2==2"
Q2 "rand1==2" -> Q5 "rand1==2 AND rand2==1"
Q2 "rand1==2" -> Q6 "rand1==2 AND rand2==2"

Q5 and Q6 I need to build these two question 2 times, is it correct?

Hi,
sorry I missed something.

Q5: (rand1==1 or rand1==2) and rand2==1
...

This example should do it.
