How to get SQID for all Qs in a Survey was created by pt1234
Dear all,
I hope that this is the right sub-forum; if not, please feel free to move my post to a different sub-forum.
Here's my question: I have set up a survey where participants enter free text into a small text box. Everything worked fine during testing, but when using the survey "in the wild" (to collect some ratings for stimuli for an experiment), some answers could not be saved into the database because subjects responses were too long (I think that's the reason) and I received an e-mail containing ALL the answers and the corresponding SGQA identifier. It seems that still all the data was "saved", at least in this e-mail (actually, I got several, whenever a question could not be saved; but the last one contains ALL answers, as far as I could see).
Now, I don't want to enter the data by hand (it's more than 300 questions) but would simply like to convert the SGQA identifier to the respective Code that has been assigned to the question when setting up the survey. Can someone point me to an easy way in which I can extract the association between SGQA identifier and the respective code for every question in my survey? This will make it possible for me to also use the data that could not be saved to the database but was e-mailed to me.
Thank you very much in advance for your help!
All the best,
Patrick

[strike]Are you on the last version ?[/strike] … more strange …
Else : you can :
1. Export VV file with new version : You have Question code at 2nd line
2. Export VV file old version : you have SGQA on 2nd line (and question text in first)

I'm not a LimeSurvey expert, could you elaborate on what you mean by VV file and the different versions?
