Issues with Sliders in Internet Explorer 8 was created by laocoon
Hello together,

I have a problem with Sliders not being displayed correctly in Internet Explorer 8. Instead of Sliders there are just boxes shown (see Screenshot). Is there a way to solve this problem?

We don't support IE 8, so does Microsoft.
www.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsforbusiness/end-of-ie-support

Btw: IE8 only works for XP, which is pratically 20 years old by now.

One question why previous slider working with IE8 was updated , it don't work on Edge ?

Thanks for your answer.
I was told to check the slider issue with IE8 and installed an virtual machine (VirtualBox) with Windows 7 and IE8. That however worked. I will recheck if the survey really has to be compatible with IE8.

Someone made the decision to move from jQuery UI sliders to Bootstrap - I'm not sure why.

Since we remove jquery-ui totally , it's understandable :).

Find this : github.com/bradlis7/bootstrap-slider/com...d1983f66448ca03122c0 for bs slider / IE8.

jQuery UI dropped support for IE 8, 9 and 10 in 2016:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JQuery_UI

Supporting old browser is not a good thing.
Pushing people to update is a good thing.
