Partial randomization of questions within a group was created by Albinux
Hi everyone,
Once again, I would like to thank all the active members of this forum for their valuable work. I think we can't say it enough.
My LimeSurvey version is 2.72.6+171207.
Let be a group of questions with 5 questions:
Q1
Q2
Q3
Q4
Q5
I would like to know how to ensure that, for example, only the order of questions Q3 and Q4 is randomized while keeping all of these two questions between Q2 and Q5. I.e. to be able to have (for example) sequences of the type:
Q1 Q1 Q1 Q1 Q1 Q1 Q1 Q1 Q1 Q1 Q1
Q2 Q2 Q2 Q2 Q2 Q2 Q2 Q2 Q2 Q2 Q2
Q3 Q4 Q3 Q3 Q4 Q3 Q3 Q3 Q3 Q4 Q4
Q4 Q3 Q4 Q4 Q3 Q4 Q4 Q4 Q4 Q3 Q3
Q5 Q5 Q5 Q5 Q5 Q5 Q5 Q5 Q5 Q5 Q5
In this example, the order of questions 3 and 4 was generated randomly each time but they remain between Q2 and Q5.
Do you know the procedure to follow to obtain such a result?

Volunteers are not paid.
Not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless

Hi, Albinux,
enter in the "Randomization group name" of Q3 and Q4 the same value.
You are absolutely free which one, but the same: abc, xyz, fitzliputzlitralala.

Hi Joffm,
Shame on me the manipulation is as simple as it gets! In fact, I was convinced that it was also necessary to put the value associated with the questions in the "Randomization group name" field of the group containing the questions. If we do this, the questions are randomly distributed throughout the group and not to a particular position within the group... Anyway, my problem is solved.
Thank you very much !

And besides, all those who have never put this sentence have never seen a cosmic entity. Therefore, the cosmic entity exists (seek sophistry ).But NEVER use «ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn» it can call some cosmic entity …
