This file name can not be uploadet was created by in2minds
Hi forum
I all of a sudden have some problems uploading logos to my template - in the template editor (it has never been a problem before!). I have tried to upload both .jpg and .png files, but I always get the text "This file name can not be uploadet".
Actually I can not delete logos either, so it is very strange.
Thank you for your help
Regards,
Katrine

Difficult to diagnose. What version of LimeSurvey is used? Where is LimeSurvey hosted? Or who is maintaining this LimeSurvey installation (You, your company,...)?
Is the error message really stating filename or did you replace that filename with a generic name? Please post a screenshot.
Try to upload the attached picture. Is that working?

Maybe these information makes sense:
The version is: "The database has been updated from version 260 to version 261". It also says "It seems you're using a version coming from the LimeSurvey GitHub repository." It's the expert version/package.
It's hosted on one.com, and it is me and my company who has installed it.
I have attached a screen shoot of my template editor site - the red note in danish is saying "This file name can not be uploadet" and appears when I click upload.
Hope it makes sense.

Your installation seems to have gone through an update. The GITHUB installation is a bit special. Perhaps a bug, but if someone in your company did a dedicated installation via GIT the update should be handled in the same way.
Did you try to upload the logo I attached at my post? Are things like copying a survey or creating a new survey working without issues?

The version can be found at the right bottom of nearly everypage in the backend.in2minds wrote: The version is: "The database has been updated from version 260 to version 261". I have tried to upload the logo you attached - same answer as with my own logos: "The file name can not be uploadet".
I have no problem copying and creating new surveys - it is only in the template editor, I have problems.
The version is. LimeSurvey Version 2.64.6.

Looks like a newly introduced bug. Others are reporting that issue too.
