likert scale in smart phone was created by RitaShen
Hi there,
I have just tried to implement a likert scale. Everything worked out fine, only now it is have something strange
when I test the questionnaire through my iPhone5s.
It did not show the answer options like what this page mention:
www.limesurvey.org/community-services/fo...-to-the-right#141030
Does anyone have an idea what the problem is and how to solve it?
Any help is much appreciated!

That is a closed survey requiring a token.

The last options are being separated as in the post linked above but the labels are missing. I think you need to update LimeSurvey to the latest build and retest.

If people will use a mobile phone I would avoid this kind of question: better use a slider?
That way the presentation on a laptop and a screen will not differ as much as when using this collapsing array....

When moving from print design to web design, little by little, designers had to accept to abandoned tables (and "points", and in general, the idea that their design should look "perfect" and "the same" in all contexts). It took them quiet a lot of time to accept it (I'd say 10 years or so... )
Tables/Array of questions were perfect for paper surveys (easy to print, quick to fill, etc).
Now that surveys should be run on many different devices/screens with many different sizes, resolutions, pixel density (retina...), survey designers should accept to abandoned arrays/tables of question. I bet it will take quiet a lot of time too.

The array is still a very good user-friendly interface on large screen widths. It is easy to see and avoids a lot of scrolling. Having said that, I do agree that it is horrible on smaller screens but these days can fairly easily be replaced with a better interface via responsive CSS (as you have done in the 2.5 templates) or via JavaScript like this - manual.limesurvey.org/Workarounds:_Manip...s_on_smaller_screens

I can't say I totally agree with that....survey designers should accept to abandoned arrays/tables of question.
