Is Limesurvey a good choice for language tests (english tests) ? The website doesn't seem to mention this kind of application or show examples of that. Thanks for your help.

LS is mainly thought to be a survey tool, not a test tool.
But is you explain your idea of the test a bit more detailled, we may be of more help.

I guess what you need is assessments + expressions, and then yes, it can be used for language tests (though, as explained above, LS is primarily a survey tool).
