I have current an on going survey running, with 800 questions built into it. The survey i have set the option to print answers after the survey is completed and submitted.

How ever the print answers screen, has a "PDF export" option which is required. This option only exports 16 pages of the total survey, while the html screen when I print to PDF in chrome/firefox options does the full 61 pages.

Is there a limitation of the PDF export or setting i can tweak to amend this?

Page in PDF and page in HTML are totally different …

Denis is asking, if the 800 question might be on the 16 pages of PDF? The space demand might be different.

There is no limitation in PDF pages by LimeSurvey itself. But it might be a bug or a performance issue.
What version of LimeSurvey is used?

No out of all the questions, there are 8 sections. the HTML shows all 8 sections and all the answer. But pdf export only shows up to section 3. leaving out everything else.

I still have this on an older Version 2.05+. As to upgrade this now while the current survey is live for the client is not an option.

Maybe an issue in your 2.05 or a memory issue (strantge) who know …

Well im running a self hosted system. I had a look at the the update section of lime survey and requested it to run an update, but got 500 error. Is there a specific url or section in the code that i can check to maybe have the system run an update over the weekend to see if that resolves the issue?

The version you use is no longer maintained by LimeSurvey/ComfortUpdate.

You might use the LTS from Denis, which contains fixes too.

You should install that in a separate location (not overwriting your current setup).
If the issue is reproducible, you might need to tune php.ini settings too.

Just installed the latest version, moved the survey across and all works. Much simpler.
