assignment of numbers to symbols

I want to design a question in which one can assign numbers (1-6) to six symbols. Each number should be assigned to only one of the symbols (each symbol should be given a unique number). Is it possible that a particular symbol disappears as as an option once it was assigned to a specific number? Or are there other ways to implement this idea?

Thanks in advance

Hi,
what exactly do you want to do?

assign numbers (1-6) to six symbols
each symbol should be given a unique number

Here you assign unique numbers to symbols.
Use "multiple numerical input" and the "unique" function, like "unique(self)" in question validation equation.

once it was assigned to a specific number

But here you assign symbols to numbers.
Sounds like a simple ranking question.

Please send some example, how it is to look like.

Best regards
Joffm

This was alsready helpful. The task in this question is to rank the symbols (best symbol, second best, etc.) so a solution in which the symbols can be assigned to the numbers by drag and drop would be perfect. It shoud not be possible to assign a symbol to more than one number.
Thank you.

Yes, perfect. For some reason, I can't get the array exclusion filter to work. Is it even possible in this constellation?
Thanks you.
