Any known limitations on answer length? was created by achstil
Hi
I have with the help of this forum, integrated a html editor which can paste long text, including attachments etc. from word to limesurvey.
We are using postgresql.
Are there any known limitations or caveats? With word-html markup cruft, a few embedded images etc, there can quickly be a lot of data in a single cell. But postgres can handle cells up to 1 gb.
Is it only the database that poses limits?
Sincerely

For the answer.
E.g. the survey asks: "Please provide your business plan."
Then the respondent can paste ind text from ms-word. A tiny table, three bullets, two headings and a single paragraph + a black and white image base64 encoded, is 40.000 characters.
We provide an option to attach a file. But my boss don't want to make attachments mandatory. So I am wondering how much of a problem this can be.
Yes -questiontype is Huge free text.
