Hey!

1. When I add a youtube link to a question the video appears very very small, is it possible to make the video bigger?

2. Also, is it possible to have group 1 that everyone answers and then after X questions it either go to group 2 OR group 3? not depending on any earlier answers.

Thanks!

Hi,

It basically looks like this, also the "remove video" tag appears for some reason.

Best regards

Hi,
As orvil said, it's always advisable to send a sample, that only contains the video question.
So that we see what you did.

If I use the embed code of youtube:
Code:
<iframe width="720" height="415" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/bQLCZOG202k" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>
there are parameters for width and height.
See:

If you embed the video by the LS video button you get:
Code:
<div class="videodetector"><iframe frameborder="0" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/-gPHeMaUudk?autohide=1&amp;amp;controls=1&amp;amp;showinfo=0"></iframe><input class="remove-videodetector" type="button" value="Remove video" /></div>

1. To remove the "Remove Video" just remove the <input /> tag
2. To adjust width and height add these parameters to the iframe as you see in the first example.
Without width and height you get the default resolution of 300x150

2.question: Use a random number between 1 and 2.
a. create a question of type "equation", here called "randnum"-
b. In the question text enter {if(is_empty(randnum),rand(1,2),randnum)}
c.In the relevance equation of group 2 enter: randnum==1, of group 3: randnum==2

That's all

Thank you Joffm!

But I don't seem to get the random questions to work. I've followed your steps.
I've made group 2 and 3.
I've made one question type in each group with "equation" that I've named them "randnum1" and "randnum2"
in both questions I've written {if(is_empty(randnum),rand(1,2),randnum)}
and in revelance equation of group 2 ive written randnum==1, of group 3: randnum==2

Something I am doing wrong here?

Thanks for your help

Best regards

Thanks a lot for your help.

But I don't seem to find an option to import your LSS file into limesurvey? I can only find the "extract to lss" option.

I am sorry but I'm very new to this. Thanks for being so patient with me

Go to the "Survey" item at the top right corner, click on the arror next to it, choose "import survey".

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

But you should have read this.

Especially the newbies are advised to read the manual. ;)
