I know that it works in certain pre-designed templates, but I'm working with a custom CSS template, and am having trouble implementing alternating row colors of the sort described here:

Anyone have success with this?

Take a look at
- Templates / The Template Editor
- Templates + Styles

Did you also try to search the forum. Templating has been discussed a lot.

There are some hints at manual -> workarounds, too.

Thanks a ton! I'd looked and looked, but couldn't find the array classes on each table cell, and combined with the terrible color rendering on my monitor, couldn't tell that it had already been working.
