Version: Lime survey 1.72
OS: Windows XP

When a user first accesses the survey, they are faced with a registration screen.

The text at the top reads:

You must be registered to complete this survey

You may register for this survey if you wish to take part.
Enter your details below, and an email containing the link to participate in this survey will be sent immediately.

How does one edit this language?

Our company is using LimeSurvey as an "Application," not a survey. The word "Survey" makes our application look inconsistent.

Please be clear and I will gladly donate.

Best,

Scott

My first post and I haven't even installed it yet! (Have access to the Liberal Democrat survey tool in the UK which uses Limesurveys predecessor!)

The easiest way is to change the language file.

docs.limesurvey.org/tiki-index.php?page=...anslate%20LimeSurvey

Also make sure you look for ALL the places it occurs- you'll see in this thread that the privacy statement also mentions "Survey"
www.limesurvey.org/index.php/Design-Issu...n-how-to-change.html

The actual file can be viewed online here:
www.limesurvey.org/index.php/Translations-Status.html

Do it this way and you'll know for sure that every survey reference is gone.

Regards
Allan

You can edit that surveys template and remove the instance where it fetches that variable from the database. If you have a web guy in the company he can surely fix it, then he can put his own HTML-code in the template. Off course not the most elegant solution, but I have done it many times in our office.

Scott, does this solve your problem?

Another option is to search the source code and replace this statement. But then you'll have problems when updating later.
