Hi, I'm trying to install 1.50, and I'm having trouble with the mySQL version check. My ISP hides the version, but I know it's 5.0.18. Nevertheless, the installation script fails with the error message "Error: You need at least MySQL version 4.1 to run LimeSurvey". So, in theory, everything should work fine if I could somehow skip the version check for the mySQL installation. Is there any way to do so?
With many thanks, Shin
P.S. I searched this forum but couldn't find any info. PHP is 4.4.7, mySQL is 5.0.18, Server is Apache on Solaris 8.

Thanks, that was fast! And it worked. Now I'll deal with the UTF-8 issues. One step at a time... Thanks guys. Shin
