Good Day,

I have an active survey and when I go to view the results the program tells me that the survey has "321 full responses, 271 responses not completly filled out"

What does this message mean?

That's easy.

You have 321 complete data records and 271 incomplete ones. That means that 321 respondents completed the survey. 271 times someone tried to fill out your survey but aborted it somewhere in between.
But attention! This doesn't mean that 271 respondents aborted. Maybe some people get distracted while filling out the survey and it timed out or they only wanted to have a first glance at it and returned later to complete it.
