Import Survey 1 Year, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

Need help!

I'm getting this error when I try to import a survey.
==============================================================
Error
An error occurred uploading your file. This may be caused by incorrect permissions in your C:/Inetpub/wwwroot/limesurvey/tmp folder.
================================================================

I created a survey, exported to .csv, renamed it and when I try to import it, I get the error above.

Checked the rights on the tmp folder and the Administrator has full access permissions to the folder.

....

Check that the user IUSR_yourmachinename has suitable rights. Administrator isn't really relevant.

Added the IUSR user and given Full Control to the folder, but still throwing the same error. Do I need to reboot?

Is it because I'm trying to import an inactive survey??? Intentionally...

when importing a survey, it is set inactive. You need write permissions in the tmp, admin and templates folders, if just setting the write persmission to IUSR (IIS?) don't work, try giving anyone write permissions to those folders, if it works you have to found wich user is the one who runs the webserver.
