Hi, I just updated to LimeSurvey 1.90 Build 9642 and have the next problem:

If i go to read all answers of a survey, there is the pencil icon to edit them (image 1), It used to work ok but now I only get 4 rows and not the questions (image 2), at this point I can only press "Back" button and do nothing or press "Update Entry" button at the bottom of the page, if I do the secound option all the answers recorded get deleted (image 3) only appear as "without answer" but there were answers before.








I don't know what the problem might be, thanks in advance for any help!

You can test if this is fixed at the latest version by testing our online demo at demo.limesurvey.org/admin(external link) which always runs the latest Limesurvey version.

If you can reproduce the problem there please report back.

Maybe your survey is broken? Are there also problems when running the survey?

Please switch on debug mode by adding the following line to your config.php file:
Are there any additional errors reported on top of the page?

Hi, thanks for answering. I tried in the demo.limesurvey,org and I don't get the problem.

I updated LS from the link that appears at top right corner so I suposed it was the latest version directly from LS.

I have tested in my server with other surveys that were saved in the past and were working ok and get same problem, so I don't think is something related to survey.

Only option I see is download source from here again and reinstall everything, will post results.

When using the auto ComfortUpdate a backup of your database is made (should be located at /tmp or /upload I guess). Can you please open a ticket at our bugtracker and report this issue and also attach the database backup!?
That is the only way we can try to track down the problem and overwork the updater.

Hi, i looked into the folders you mention and no files are there. This is weird because I made a new install from "Fantastico" in other folder that asked me to update after fresh install yesterday, and on that update the files you mention are there, bad thing is that new install from fantastico had same problem (problem of this thread) since I installed it, then updated to newest version 9642 problem is still there, I can send you file of that, but problem was before and after that installation, if It works for you anyway, let me know to send them.

Regarding previous installation (the good one for me), I'm trying to return to previous version with old backup files, will post results.

Ok, I returned to 1.90 9487 and is working fine again. Only thing that doesn't work properly is the fancy meny that used to hide-unhide with the blue arrows, but np, as long as I can edit answers and use the rest of program is ok.

This sounds like some files have not been uploaded correctly. Please re-upload all files in binary mode.
