I've downloaded Li,e in a Zip File but cannot find any execute file to install. Hints anybody?

You install LimeSurvey on a website, you need a website to install it :)

Good morning All

My name is Joseph and I am new to LimeSurvey.

Where can i find the one click installer to install for mysql database on a linux machine?

I am having some trouble setting up; i also have apache installed

Well, Linux is a different thing. I'd guess your "one click installer" on Linux is "apt-get".

Or maybe you can find it in the software installer in Ubuntu.

However, there are many tutorials on how to setup a LAMP environment on the internet.
Have a look at the manual! It is a really valuable source for information. Here some helpful links:

ok. I have re-downloaded the packed limesurvey file from sourceforge; the one for linux/bsd/solaris ... i think i mistakenly downloaded the one for windows. :pinch:

Ahh, OK. so you already have a LAMP environment running on your machine (LAMP = LinuxApacheMysqlPHP)?

Then you just need to put the Limesurvey files in your public_html folder (or what ever it is called) and then follow the normal installation instructions.
