New here and may have missed something but AFAICS it seems that the privacy notice is embedded in the Language file and cannot be tailored to individual surveys. I have discovered that I could edit the privacy.pstpl file (or any other pstpl file with the right text) but that file only occurs when the survey is Anonymous (which is slightly the wrong way round IMHO).

What the data that is being collected is, and how it is to be used may vary significantly between different surveys and each one needs a properly crafted Privacy Notice (certainly for compliance with the UK's DPA).

The Placeholder is already there so could the Privacy Notice text be included as one of the Text Elements that can be edited within each survey?

For now I will have to do this via a paragraph in the Welcome Text area.

You could always skip the welcome page (in newer version there is an option for this) and you can add a boiler plate question at the beginning with your own texts.

I think it can be a good idea, please put it in feature request.
Anf for not anonymous, put a default text (for exemple, in france, we allways need to have a CNIL declaration if the survey aren't anonymous).
