I just got the "We are sorry but you don't have permissions to do this" error when trying to test a survey I'm creating. A quick google search showed something about errors with a proxy and gave a suggestion about changing a general setting to correct this.
However:
When I opened one of the settings page, and saw the "default template", I remembered that not long ago I have had to change the template of the survey I was working on because a piece of code I was testing -with another template- wasn't working correctly. To keep it short:
Original settings (working):
- Limesurvey version 1.92, Build 120822
- Default template: Citronade
- Main survey template: Citronade
- Test survey template: default
(was able to test all the surveys without problem)
1st change done (after which the "test survey" for the Main survey stopped working):
- Default template: Citronade
- Main survey template: default
- Test survey template: default
2nd change done:
- Default template: default
- Main survey template: default
- Test survey template: default
At this point things seem to be working again
I'm not 100% sure, but I'm under the impression every time I tried to test the survey I got kicked out of LS and had to do login again.
(the hosting is on a 1and1 linux server, if that makes any difference)
