I have a question regarding filtering an array based on a radio list question. As the normal array filter only works with multiple choice questions, I wanted to use the expression manager (LS 2.00+ b121121).

I included a simplified example of the survey with two questions. This is a project evaluation. In the project are three roles: the project manager, researchers and supporting staff. The respondents are asked to rate the performance of the other team members. The project manager is not suppose to rate himself, so for him this option should be excluded from the array.

I looked at the examples of the expression manager, but got stuck. Any hints? Is this possible using the EM?

Any multiple choice or array type question can filter or be filtered by any other.

Sure, but now I need to filter an array by a radio list question which is 'normally' not possible. I wondered if there is a workaround for that?

Array filtering DOES work for radio list (question type 'L'). It has been fully tested - just not fully documented.

Array filtering is not configured for List-dropdown (question type '!')

Ok, I tried that, but when I enter the code of the first question ('role') in the array filter field of the second (see survey attached to opening post), all options appear at once?

I would like to either:

multiple short text filter exclusion based on numerical input.

or

multiple short text filter exclusion based on radio list.

Is that possible?
