Hey there,

I am using Limesurvey 2.0. When exporting data I find it quite messy that all the variables are named 12345etc., is there any workaround to use question text, or question codes as names insted?

Just use run -> all and the variable names as there. The rename is in the last part of the syntax and prevents errors when the same code is used twice.
