Hi

I've just discovered after a long time of inputting information into 'List (dropdown)' Question Type that it appears to be limited to 244 choices/answers/options. Is there a way to increase this? I probably need around 500 as it's a drop-down list of UK councils?

Did you figure out how to increase the answers limit? I found myself in the same situation designing a large survey.

Hey Stephen,

This has been reported in the bugtracker system recently and was closed. See: bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=7185. I was having the same issue with a number of 1000+ answers in a dropdown list. I increase the max_input_var in PHP as suggested in the bugtracker and it worked.

Could you group the list as another question? They need to first select the district and then select the councils?
