At Limesurvey 2 it should also be possible to change/edit/remove the <</>>.

Can you tell me at least where are they added ? in php ? if yes in which file ?

Well, the answer depends on the version you are using. There is also a replacement.php file at other versions.

Generally, I don't recommend to change the source code.

You can easily re-name the buttons with some lines of Javascript to overwrite the button label.
There should be some examples here at the forum.

Add the following to the end of template.js and change the text as required:
