Is it possible to send mails to the users after they answer the survey asking for an automatical response just to test if the mail address is correct?
Everything in the context that the idea is to inform the user that the inserted mail is not correct asking them to insert a correct one.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

I'm not a PHP expert but you may be able to use JavaScript/AJAX to call a PHP script to test the email address.
