The LimeSurvey team needs enforcement! We are looking for a person with people skills who would like to manage all translations-related things inside the LimeSurvey project (on a voluntary base).
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining contact with translators through email, IM, IRC, etc.
- Advise and provide assistance for translations to the translators
- Drive for updated translations in the application, documentation and on the website
Your main task will be to make the LimeSurvey project the best-translated survey tool by motivating translators and the community to contribute to this goal. You should be fluent in English and should have fun to communicate with people all over the world. It's not a requirement to be multi-lingual for this position, although it helps!
If you are interested to work in a nice time within a great open source project please get in touch with us at

We will publish another 1.87 release candidate on Friday - version 1.87 RC3. Those who already use LimeSurvey any 1.87RC and have the update feature activated and working will receive an automatic notice on release. Please continue to give back feedback about this new release - it is something we certainly need to be able to fix any issue quickly.
Due to popular demand (mainly by our Portuguese Brazilian community) we decided to create a Portuguese forum so people can help each other in Brazil -if we find volunteers we also would like to offer a complete documentation translated to Portuguese and also a Portuguese version of the homepage - as said: please

We were extra careful this time! Beta 1 brings you fixes to all the major reported bugs:
- Testing a new survey no longer gives a mysterious error
- Single Select question type now actually works
- Additional permission checks in the Installer
But what's more, we have improved LimeSurvey's performance by amazing 50%-150% - a speed improvement you'll definitely feel,

Many people who installed and tried the new LimeSurvey 2 Beta 1 package, were feeling it lacked functionality and missed many features. Current LimeSurvey 2 releases are intended for public testing and are not suitable for production purposes. To avoid any future confusion, the Beta 1 will be now known as Alpha Preview 2. Thank you for your interest in the 2.0 version and we hope you will continue supporting LimeSurvey. |
