The Limesurvey interface has a great feature in the "Show Help" option, which opens window to right of screen with help text. Can this be done in a LimeSurvey Survey?

This is only available at the admin screen. It can't be integrated into a survey.

if you know how to use CSS and javascript you could implement something similar by changing the style of the help block and open it on click as a float, but it will require some serious fiddling with the CSS template.

but if you search you can get tons of effects |

Yes, took a look, NICE and I know CSS and javascript but having the feature already available would be a time saver! I will add it to the nice to have list.

This is for template layout.
The only possibility actually is to make your own template ...

Somehow, I managed to turn off displaying the Help below questions, and now I want to turn it back on but can't find where the setting is. Help?

Probably you deleted the {questionhelptext} from your template.
