Hi all,

I just ran through the Comfort Update to upgrade to Version 2.00+ Build 130611. It all seems to have gone through without any error, but I have a question about the file permission changes the process asked me to make.

I set up my manual installation permissions as per the docs, however the comfort upgrade then asked me to change permissions for a whole load of files (I presume all those files which were being effected by the upgrade). I changed the owner of those files to the www-data user which then allowed the upgrade to complete.

My question; Should I be setting those files back to how they were before the upgrade to keep the security of my install?

Change settings is not really needed. If you want to change it, you had to know what you do.
