Hello,

I tried to install limesurvey on a Debian Webserver with Apache 2.2.16 running.

The Database-Installation in the Webinstaller worked fine. After that, I got the following error:

Not Found

The requested URL /index.php/installer/optional was not found on this server.

I can reach the Limesurvey startpage under survey.example.org, but if i try survey.example.org/admin, I got the same problem:

Not Found

The requested URL /index.php/admin was not found on this server.

Can anyone help to fix the problem?

I tested already the Apache-Redirect-Engine - it works.

I found the problem. I have to set "AcceptPathInfo On" in the Apache configuration.
The administrator has disabled public write access.
