The last three times I have used 3 step update the following error has occured:

There was a problem downloading the update file. Please try to restart the update process.
Buildnumber was successfully updated to 130110.
The update is now complete!
As a last step you should clear your browser cache now


Any idea why this happens, it worked very well until build 130103. And the error is a bit hard to interpret.. Failed download but update complete? And buildnumber is updated so the process cannot be restarted without manually changing the buildnumber.

Same here. It appears the update works though. But any error message is discomforting.

Confirmed... crapped again, but he update seems to have taken.

And... seems that we can no longer add attachments to our posts.

I'm not sure if it's updating the build number despite not actually doing the update.

I have noticed that downloading the full build zips for manual updates tends to take a fair while between clicking the link and the server actually serving up the download - could it be that the timeout on the comfortupdate is too short?

The incremental update (three step) does not take long because it is only dealing with a few files vs. the whole stack. Even though I am getting the error, it appears that the version is updating.

Just tried to update and got the exact same error as seen in quaint's screen dump.

Yes, the version is updated properly. The issue will be resolved in the next version.

I had the same error described here on the prior build. But on the new build I am getting this error:

The website encountered an error while retrieving www.xxx.com/limesurvey/index.php/admin/update/sa/step3. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

Any suggestions?
