As part of the comfort update I got to the database upgrade page, when I click on 'Click here to continue' everything seems to go well, but when I click on 'Back to main menu' I'm kicked back to the database upgrade page.

Trying to go directly to /admin takes me to the same page.

Having read about what appears to be a similar problem in: www.limesurvey.org/en/forum/installation...upgrade-to-191-10089 I downloaded the whole installation files, restored the original database and updated manually. I just get stuck in the same loop though.

Interestingly if I change the 1 at the end of the URL of the 'databse upgraded' page to a 0 I can get in to the admin pages:

MYURL.com/admin/admin.php?continue=1

Ideas on how I can fix this?

Database says it is now upgraded to 155.5
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Ok, the problem has now gone away. I haven't done anything that I'm aware of to fix it.

It must have been a caching issue, even though I tried different browsers and cleared the caches.
The administrator has disabled public write access.
