I just upgraded to 1.91+ from version 1.82 and I get 'Error moving file to its destination' after uploading a file and submitting a survey.

After some investigation it looks like the rename() function fails in save.php if the uploads/<surveyid>/files directory does not exist.

So I added the following line to save.php at line 497 to remedy:
if(!is_dir($target)) mkdir($target, 0775, true);

Not sure if this is a bug, or something strange happened during my upgrade process. Anyone else have this problem?

I'm using PHP 5.1.6

Please test if the problem still exists at the latest release. If so please open a ticket at the bugtracker and...
  1. Give as much information as possible
  2. Attach your survey. You can mark your ticket "private" so that only the developers will be able to take a look at it.
  3. Provide step-by-step instructions how to reproduce the problem.
  4. If possible/helpful please provide screenshots

Afterwards please post the link to the bugtracker so we can follow the progress.

Thanks!

Well, this was the latest release, but I reverted to a backup and did the upgrade again, and this time the uploads are working fine. I must have screwed up my permissions the first time :)
