I have an issue with admin loop
I have try everything:
Same problem with version 1.90 or 1.91

Server is Parallels Plesk "Localhost via UNIX socket", with PHP MySQL library version 5.0.90 and MySQL server version 5.1.59
In forum FAQs there is a paragraph with solutions (PHP sessions):
..................
Update upload_tmp_dir and session.save_path in php.ini
Create the configured session and upload directories
IIS: Assigned permission to create and modify to IIS guest user account
Apache: Make sure your webserver has permissions to write into the configured directory
Check if the variable "session.use_cookies" in php.ini is set to 1.
Check the variable "session.auto_start" in php.ini. If it is set to 1, change it to 0.
.....................

but I am new with all these messages above. Please help...

What is the problem in detail? Being logged out at admin screen?
Which webservr do you use?
Which PHP version do you use?
Please upload a phpinfo file so we can take a look at your server configuration. Just put the following code into a file named phpinfo.php and upload it to your webserver:
< ?php phpinfo(); ? >
(Delete the spaces next to </> when copying the code.)
After uploading please post the link to the file.

The problem is that after successful login being automatically logged out at admin screen (in 1-2 sec).
My server uses Linux Apache/2.2.3 (Red Hat) and PHP Version 5.3.8
phpinfo link: www.eenee.gr/myphpinfo.php

Thanks

Hmm, the PHP info looks fine.

All I can recommend is to have some sysadmin have a look at your server settings and check the solutions you already posted above.

If this doesn't help, have a look at our free hosting at www.LimeService.com

Problem solved!!!
Webservr administrator found a parameter in hosting:

safe_mode=on

and turn it to "off" That was all...

Check it in phpinfo

Thanks for your feedback.

Let me state that this isn't a real solution but only solves the problem if there is some other misconfiguration like a wrong base path.

mirado, changing the password at the config files has no effect because the password and username used there is only the initial password for the first installation.

Have a look at docs.limesurvey.org/General+FAQ&structur...._How_do_I_reset_it_
