Ok, INSERTANS solved the problem. I'm writing up the work around to post later.

In order to do that I would like to add a script to actually add the INSERTANS'. Now I'm doing it manually and that works, but I'm all about automation. So could someone help me out with a tiny script to simply add a whole bunch of INSERTANS subquestions in one go?

I have to add 131 of them for my own project and it's a daunting task to go into the editor for each subquestion and select it. For some reason pasting it directly into the subquestion and changing the last number doesn't work.
