I wanted to transfer my Limesurvey installation including two actual surveys.

Everything worked fine. Even when I tested the surveys the first question page was displayed correctly. On the second page I got the following message (several times):

Notice: Undefined index: defaultvalue in /home/.sites/106/site1306/web/surveys/qanda.php on line 2111

What does that mean? Could you please help me with this?

It's just a notice. Notices should be turned off in general at productive servers.

Please tell us more about how you moved your Limesurvey installation, which versions are used and so on.

Thanks for your reply. I use Limesurvey Version 1.90+ Build 9160.

I installed the complete package (as it comes with the download) according to the instructions in the manual. Then I imported the entire SQL-Database to the MySQL Server. And it worked perfectly! And I can run the surveys. But there is this message starting from the second question-page (the first page is OK). So this message is messing up the screen for the users.

I attached the screenshot. The template, which I modified (limespired) is also disturbed, but worked fine on the original server.

What is your precedent version of LimeSurvey ?

Di you have a lime_defaultvalues datatable ?

On the previous server I used the same version. Yes, there is a default value database.

1. Which Limesurvey version did you use previously before the update?

2. Please run the database check at admin panel, are there any erors mentioned?

3. Create a copy of the survey and delete question by question from the second group until the message disappears. Then create the question you deleted last from scratch and test again.

Your hint was right! There is an option on my webspace provider`s panel to turn notices off. Those needless messages are not displayed any longer and everything works.
