Hi,

my problem is as follows :
  • 3 installations of Limesurvey on different Windows machines (2008R2 / 2012 / 8.1) with IIS 7.5 or 8, PHP 5.5 + mySQL 5.6 on each, everything else working fine;
  • 1 LS version 2.0+ and 2 2.05+ (build 140520 for the newest);
  • tested with several browsers from several client machines.

I often ask LS to save timestamps and durations to check if my respondents are serious or less. From the version 2.0 and since, the values of the three timestamps, submitdate, startdate, and datestamp are always identical, but for the incomplete questionnaires where submitdate is missing. At the same time, the interviewtime and the grouptime values seem to be correct.

Should I substract the interviewtime from datestamp or submitdate to retrieve a correct startdate?

What can we do with this?
Thanks
Yves Roy, University of Poitiers, France

Do you see a difference between datestamp and submitdate?

For you calcualtions use submitdate.

Are you sure LS is updated?

Thanks.

In fact, I was until today on version 2.05, build 140116. And no, there is no difference between datestamp and submitdate, unless for the incomplete annswers where submitdate is blank.

After updating to build 140520, the export of existing answers still shows the same problem. But the problem disappears with newly added answers.

I think the bug is fixed.

Thanks again.
