Hi all,

I have created a survey with lets say this url:

test.test.com/limesurvey/index.php/862176/lang-en

Everything works fine.

My question is that: Can I add a parameter at the end of url like test.test.com/limesurvey/index.php/86217...en?whatever=sdd-0001

and to be able to save this parameter's value?

Yes and there should be quite a few threads about how to do this in the forum and probably a solution in the workaround section of the manual.

What you need to do is read the value into a hidden text question (via css).
Have a look at the manual! It is a really valuable source for information. Here some helpful links:

Thanks for the responses! I have read the manual and also the link that Ben_V provided but still I don't get how to use the {PASSTHRU:<paramname>} .. I defined in the Panel integration a paramname but still I can't save it and see it in the responses.

To make more clear what I want is to have the URL of the survey as I write it before
test.test.com/limesurvey/index.php/862176/lang-en

and then send to the participants via email specific URL for each user of the above (same) survey like

test.test.com/limesurvey/index.php/862176/lang-en?whatever=sdd-0001

and to be able to see the responses based on the parameter of the url...

If you have a short text question with question code "mid" you can adjust your URL as follows to pass data into that question:
www.mydomain.com/index.php/survey/index/...8/newtest/Y/lang/de/mid/55555
