Hello,

I am trying to input some special characters such as {},[], $$, <>

But unfortunately, they will be decode or something like that and display with a error span,

Could you tell me how can I input that special characters,

Can't reproduce.

With or without HTML editor.

For
{}
it's for Expression manager, use
{
}
in source code editor.

For
<>
it's replaced by
& lt;& gt;
with html editor, and it's good. If you want some
<strong>This text is strong</strong>
Use source editor.

I have a similar problem only that the special characters in my case are the fonts of an Indian language. All I get see is ??????.

That's because of the parsing by Expression Manager, see docs.limesurvey.org/Upgrade+hints+for+ve...tom_JavaScript_usage
