I am currently working on an online survey of two cities.

At the end of the survey the participants should answer in which city district they live. This is a mandatory question .
It is surprising to me that lime
* (in the graphic display of statistics ) displays in the completed
questionnaires that four persons in Vienna, and two persons in
Dresden didn't have answered the questions about the city district.
*On the other hand, when i look at the list, I do not discover any
completed questionnaire without stating the city district.

This are only different types of representation of the same database.


I'm working on mac, in firefox.
Lime + Version 1.92 Build 120319th
I have installed Lime on my website of the Vienna university after
creating a MySQL database, following exactly the instructions of the
central computer service ((ZID) at univerity Vienna.

the attachment grafik 1 shows the distribution (concerning the districts) for vienna, grafik 2 shows the distribution for dresden... just for the completed questionnaires! "Keine Antwort" means "no answer".

The question is a mandatory question, so I can´t understand why lime displays that four persons in Vienna, and two persons in Dresden didn't have answered the questions about the city district. That´s impossible.

At the moment I have 254 probands in summary. 130 probands in Vienna. 124 probands in Dresden.
Diagram 1 displays the distribution of Vienna (in summary 130), but just 122 "Nicht gezeigt" (for the Dresden sample). 2 probands in Dresden are absent.
Diagram 2 displays the distribution of Dresden (in summary 124), but just 126 "Nicht gezeigt" (for the Viennese sample). 4 probands in Vienna are absent.

Hmm, the only explanation to me would be that user have left the survey at that question and are therefore counted as "keine Antwort" (just guessing). Can you test if this would explain the number and if you can reproduce it this way?

i checked my data. nobody left the survey at that question.
i also tested it and stopped answering the questions one question before the question about the home-district, but lime didn´t make any mistakes: lime displayed my questionnaire as a part of the incomplete questionnaires, as it should be.
