Hi !

Working with 1.92RC2, I remarked that a question labelled "not mandatory" blocks the survey if I ask for precise values. For instance:

q1 - what is your birth year ? (I expect a numeric value, integer, between 1900 and 2000, but if people don't want to answer they can proceed

q2 - where do you live ? (the question doesn't appear, because the survey is waiting for an answer between 1900 and 2000 to the first question)

I mistakenly thought that that was how the surveys were supposed to work.
I'll patch this so that empty values are acceptable (regardless of other validation rules) unless the question is mandatory.

Great! It is true that it could be confusing, but sometimes you just want to avoid some values without requiring other values.
