File Attachment:

File Name: LimeSurveyIdea353.zip
File Size: 115 KB

I created a suggestion for creation of Short URL's into LimeSurvey. I have taken it upon myself to write all the code necessary to implement this idea (see my latest comment in the idea thread).

Does this project have a preferred format for submitting DELTA files, so that you can apply my delta to build 11379 to get a finished product?

Thanks for your assistance.

P.S. I zipped the full source code of the modules I changed and uploaded it as an attachment. NOTE: Since I have not upgraded to the latest build, I have NOT verified that this works correctly. However, I don't expect much difficulty with it.

THE ZIP FILE IN THE PREVIOUS POST DOES NOT WORK. DON'T USE IT.

After upgrading my installation to the latest build, I got to try out my code and found a few bugs (caused by passing a complete HTML a-tag string to tinyurl, instead of passing just the link itself).

Anyway, it's fixed now and working perfectly on my computer. Someone here might like to try it.

Find the updated (and tested) patch file here:

I've followed the instructions for installing TurtleSVN and am working through the process of reporting through the bug tracker. I cannot seem to find the link for creating a new "User Patch" style report without actually including my patch - despite the fact that the instructions for creating a bug tracker entry say NOT to start coding until the approach has been approved by the developers.

I'm a bit confused.
