After I generated the statistical reports of my survey, I found Chinese mess code in the chart. So, how can I resolve this problem?
PS: The language I used in the survey is Simplified Chinese.

1. Which Limesurvey version do you use?

2. Can you post a screenshot of the problem?

3. You can test if this is fixed at the latest version by testing our online demo at demo.limesurvey.org/admin(external link) which always runs the latest Limesurvey version.

It works fine at the online demo which indicates that this is a server configuration issue.
You can ask your admin to update PHP and all packages (GD library might be important) to the latest versions. Maybe this solves your problem.

Thanks. The problem has been solved.

We add function mb_convert_encoding into the pchart.class, which changes encoding style from 'UTF-8' to 'HTML-ENTITIES'.
