Hi there,
I recently setup a LimeSurvey for customer's visiting my website. I found the process pretty easy and I was happy with the results. However, a friend of mine who tested out the survey received an unsolicited email shortly after completing the survey. The spam was related to the nature of my website, and it stated that he had received the email "as a result of completing a Webclient Survey". My survey was the only survey he had completed. Can someone confirm whether LimeSurvey sells or shares participant's data with third-parties?

Non, no way !

After submitted a survey, the submitter receive a confirmation email. You can see the confirmation email in token part:

/admin/admin.php?action=tokens&sid=XXXXXXXX&subaction=emailsettings

If yopu remove all text in confirmation email, the the confirmtion email wasn't sent.
