I am happy to see you updated pChart component yourself, and it's better that original pChart that is very old.

Maybe do you want to give them that update ?

I think it will help many people :)

I think the best is to do a bug report :) if there are problem to keep this pChart version.

Or:
You can add this as a feature request at our feature tracker . Please describe your idea as detailed as possible and try to outline a suitable solution/implementation aswell. ( dixit Mazi ;) )

I am not sure you understand my request...

In fact, your pChart version is OK, and really more recent than official pChart version.

What I suggest is to send to official pChart website your contribution :)

From what I have read a few days ago pChart is no longer maintained (prove me wrong). That's a pitty because it's a great library.
There is also a fork of the pchart project and another version for mediawiki.
You can get "our" pchart version from our SVN.

You're right, pChart 1.x trunk isn't maintained anymore.

The v2 version will be available in a few days/weeks to the early adopters community ( http://www.pchart.net, http://wiki.pchart.net/ )

What a pity, a non really GPL licence.

LimeSurvey are for commercial use, then we can't use pChart 2 and stay at pChart 1.0.

hmm, I am not an expert on software licenses, but I understand this paragraph slightly different:
If you want to integrate it in your commercial products, you'll have to get a commercial license. There are some exceptions to this rule for Public Research and Education labs. Non-profit web sites that don't want to publish their source code under GPL may also apply.

Limesurvey might be used for commercial purposes, but it is not a commercial product, as it is not sold. I think this has no impact on Limesurvey, as it is distributed free of charge with source code. How you use the product should be not the problem.

However, I can be totally wrong in my interpretation here, as I am no expert.
