According to the issue log the problem was solved:
2010-02-12 23:22 c_schmitz Status assigned => resolved
2010-02-12 23:22 c_schmitz Fixed in Version => 1.87+
2010-02-12 23:22 c_schmitz Resolution open => fixed
2010-02-18 18:19 c_schmitz Status resolved => closed

mdekker suggested that this button should clear all responses by removing them (physically) from the database. But nobody confirmed it ("ok, let's do it that way") and a different person fixed it and closed.
So was it fixed the mdekker's way?

If the response was not yet completed it will be deleted. It is in revision 8382 if you want to check svn.
