I got access to an existing survey, with the shownif-command,
for example: VQ8_1.shownif(VQ8_1 == "Y", ' (' + VQ9_1.shown + ')', '')

I try to use similar shownif-commands within my own survey, but cannot make it work.

My request is an URL which points me to some more background about "shownif".

I searched in the limesurvey manual and on the forum, but no hits on "shownif".

Thanks for your help!

As far as I know, "shownif" is not an Expression Manager function so I don't see how it would work in any survey.

Tony,
I do have a live example, so it works, somehow.
Also the QA Logic File doesn't generate errors.
So, somehow it should work.
I also do not see any specific Java.......
